How do I become an investment banker?

Hey everyone, I am in my third year of high school and I want to become an investment banker. What steps will I have to take to do so? (i.e. what college is good for i.banking, what degrees I'll have to earn, if companies will recruit you out of college, etc.). Thank you very much!

Hi, i recommand you a good and basic tutorial for investing. it covers all Issues related to your Investing and everything around it.

wish it will help you.

Generally speaking, though this is certainly not always the case, for the best i-banking options after college, you will want to go to an Ivy League school. The Wharton business school at the University of Pennsylvania is among the best undergrad programs for Finance, which is what you will want to major in no matter where you go (you can also google "best undergraduate business schools" for many other suggestions. As for getting recruited out of college, it is easiest to do this if you're going to a school in the metro NYC area, where most investment banks have offices. This way you can get a summer internship with one of them, and then hopefully get a job offer from them for when you graduate. Once you're done with college and have a job, be prepared to go back to school to either get your MBA or Masters degree. These are pretty much required for the i-banking community.
