Career in banking ?

I am currently pursuing Undergrad degree in Math. Just wanted to ask .... is it worth staying another year at University and get a second degree in Economics (BA) if I want to pursue a career in investment banking (doing market/risk analysis)?

I just got Computer operator summer job in investment bank (working for investemnt advisor)....i dont know if that would help later on in my career.

Thanks alot, appreciated

They are related fields and this experience definitely will help you!!!!!!!!!!!

You do not need to get a second degree. They may offer you a position after your internship is over. Even if they don't, you can list the experience on your resume. That experience will put you ahead of any double major who doesn't have similar internship experience. Remember, there are many different roles in an investment bank. Market/risk analysis is very general. I suggest that you find out which department you'd want to work in (equities/fixed income/etc). Are you working for the investment banking division or broker/dealer aspect? The experience will help, but make sure you know that working for an investment bank doesn't make you an investment banker. Anyway, it's up to you, but staying another year is not that important. Make sure your grades are top notch and that you really know your finance before you interview. Networking is the key!!
