Internet Investment?

What is the definition of internet investment and investment online? eg. the different between investment through website and investment offshore and using website to monitor like online banking.

I feel that internet is just a medium (just like telephone, counter, fax , face to face ) Investment is when you put your money and hoping it will grow and work for you. Of course there is a risk. You can buy company's stock over the broker's counter or on internet . You can even buy anything on internet and hope the price will go up in future such as collectors items on ebay.

BUT what i don't understand is of all type of investment on internet , a lot of Malaysian choose to pick the quick rich scheme such as SWISS CASH ,EA INDEX or ETC.

Are Malaysian desparate to be rich just to survive ???? I know there are a lot of things have gone up . Yesterday, even The Star newspaper has increase the price from Rm 1.20 to Rm 1.50. Today, Astro (owned by Ananda Krishnan) also anounce they will increase the subsription fee.

Back to the topic , internet's name has gone bad. INTERNET IS BAD- That's what the mainstream media said. Even the Prime Minister of Malaysia begs the citizen not to invest on internet...So Internet is Bad whether you call it as internet investment ot investment online .

But what we don't know is , there are a lot Malaysian ,making decent money on internet. (please refer to "the Personal Money" magazine back issue in December 2005)
IN United States , Internet Millionaire is born everyday .

I hope the mainstream media will not publised the internet is an evil scheme. Please tell the truth!!
