I have 30,000 saved. what is the best short term investment that would yield the biggest returns.? |
i have no experience in investments or banking selling drugs on the street Invest in General Motors stock. Everyone needs a car and the new Camaro coming out is only going to make things better. You have us your time horizon and liquidity needs. There are several good investments at your disposal. Short term ? Treasuries or a CD. best short term investment is the one that will preserve your capital... I assume that you will need this money - short term. Go to bankrate.com to compare different cds, money market accounts, etc...... Find a community that is growing and buy municipal bonds, they are short term and pay large dividends! Make a down payment on a property being sold BELOW market value with 10% down ($3,000) . Next to your name as BUYER put and/or assigns and then the location of the property. Make sure it's in a decent area - perhaps even near a college - corporate area - downtown - working community or hospital for easy rental. Put the property back on the market at Fair Market Value For Sale By Owner. Make a cool $10,00- $20,000 or more in 90 days or less. Be sure you can afford the mortgage and try to buy it directly from another Seller to save agent fees on both sides. (Be sure to contact the tax assessors office to make sure there are no back taxes or liens due on the property). Good luck!
