How do I get a job in investment banking or something in Finance?

Go to a university...and get a Finance or Accounting Major. Try to take classes that are oriented around both subjects, trust me, it'll help out greatly in the future and for keeping that under your belt.

When looking for universities...look into ones with great business classes...and try to stick away from taking a general business degree, those don't mean anything.

Look for accredited business schools and who accredits the school. An MBA would be the best opportunity. Financial engineering programs are very popular right now.

get a degree in economics, accounting, finance. but to tell the truth any good(high marks achieved) degree will do. Especially in London firms a quantum physics or a maths major is really sort after.
Anyways if you manage to get through the interview and they say you were not good enough. Dnt leave the office, tell the manager you really want the job and dont leave and remain there. Tell him you went to school for this and you're not just walking away from this opportunity.. 9/10 times they will take you because it doesnt cost them that much to add an extra junior employee
