Is it possible to go into an Investment Banking Career with a History degree? They take anyone who can think laterally. I once had a music graduate who sang for her supper and a home economics graduate who tried to cook the books. As long as you've got a good degree (2.1. or above from a decent uni) it shouldn't matter what the subject was. actually yes, but you have to start at entry level and work your up by taking classes offered throught the american institute of banking DEFINITELY YES. Only requirement is that u have good grades and good university and u can prove during interview stage that u have real interset in the area (basically go thru their website and talk about the same). if u go to the websites of various investment banks and see people profie u will see all bizarre degree holders. |
