What is corporate banking and how is that different from investment banking?

Corporate Banking is where a particular bank or a particular branch has more of corporate customers and the branch mainly services corporate customers, not retail individual customers.

Needs of Corporates are quitte different, they need working capital limits, Bank Guarantees, Bid Bonds, Term Loans etc.for their commercial operations and to run their business.

Investment banking is when a Bank undertakes wealth management or portfolio management for High Networth Individuals in that the Bank helps one to make investments and tenders helpful advice and manages your portfolio.
