Can you get an investment banking career without an accouting major? |
I am currently enorlled in commmerce/eco double degree majoring in marketing, finance, and economics. Would the lack of an accouting major really affect my goals? Nope just dump the marketing and bone up on as many finance classes as possible. Take the highest level Corporate Finance class you can. Become awesome in Excel, take extra classes if necessary in Excel - VBA, Marcos, etc. And you're solid. Not at all ... a finance or econ degree will be great. A masters on top of that will be needed at some point. Good luck. no, finance preety much cover's investment banking, just keep ur GPA up and ur set. A master's in finace gurantees you a good job, keep up the grades and ur the man soon |
