Why are you interested in investment banking?

I work in banking because:

1.) It's one of the most prestigious jobs that a new-grad can obtain. Thus, the benefits associated with having banking on one's resume are immense.
2.) Although the lifestyle is rough, "paying one's dues" during the analyst stint can reap immense awards; more specifically, I'm looking to exit into large-cap PE where I can maintain a more predictable lifestyle with unbelievable pay.
3.) I find the work interesting; I like reading about how businesses operate and how they strategize. I look to start an entrepreneurial venture some day, and I think this experience will help me.
4.) I'm good at it. I'm naturally a very quantitative person, so I find building models challenging and intriguing. A good skill to have, IMO.
