Which universities do top investment banks and consulting firms hire from?

Typically, where does someone from Goldman Sachs or McKinsey & Co. go to school? I'm talking strictly straight out of undergrad. Are there certain schools they recruit from? Are there certain schools they will only hire from? Thanks!

Eeach bank has a different list of target schools. This list generally comprises schools that are heavily represented at the bank (i.e. lots of MDs are alums from a particular school) or schools with which the bank has had historically strong relations.

General targets include:

To a lesser effect:

For West-coast banking:
Berkeley
UCLA
Stanford

You'll also get the occasional kid from Baruch, BC, etc.

Ivy League Schools. Probably Harvard, Yale, or Wharton.
