Stop ... your killing me! investment property in california is for professionals and corporations. There is no money to be made in CA to someone new to the game. Try kansas or arkansas. You can pick up homes for 10k there and rent them out for 400 or 500 per month. Much easier to start there, then come back to california when you've made your first million. I'd start with REITS if i wanted to invest in Real Estate with 3k. Reits will gain you exposure to real-estate without you having to buy a home. With REITs you own the real-estate companies that are buying the homes. You can't buy anything. You can barely be able to rent in a decent area |
