You need at least 拢1m pound to classify as a bank.
Contact the FSA for full details as they are the regulators of the banking industry.
Although if you have to ask on this website, then I suggest you have got no real ambition,no real backing and no real chance.

Take someones money and hold on to it until they want it back. If your clever though you'll do something with it while you have hold of it e.g. investments.

Get about 50 million dollars and a bank charter and you're done...easy huh?
