I have a finance position at a bank but i really want to be a investment broker. Whats my next best move?

Do you have the mandatory courses for it? Example in Canada you have to take the Canadian Securities Course to be licensed. Other countries have similar requirements. Does your bank have an investment (brokerage) division? In Canada, some of the larger banks do. By continuously applying in that division even if it is for a lower paying position is sometimes your best way in.
