Why no response from the Investment Banking executives such as Bear Stearns,Leamans,Standard &Poors,etc ?

Why is it that there is absolutely no response by the major investment banking fraternity to the negative response reported by all the media to the bail out of one their members by the Federal Reserve versus no monetary assistance for the unfortunate families of housing foreclosures.Is it because they consider themselves above critisism to answer to the fact that their companies showed extremely bad corporate judgement regarding investment guarantees appertaining to the housing loan companies.Is it more probable they think they are above answerable critisism and can do as they please?.

I think your question is rhetorical, but I will answer any way to confirm what you already know.
If the executives don't say or do anything they will be still be able to hold their positions, get great pay rises, bonuses, stock, and stock options every year.
One would have to be out of his mind to admit incompetence, laziness, greed, carelessness, selfishness etc.
