Purdue Krannert and Investment Banking? |
Hi, I will be majoring in Finance at the Krannert Management school at Purdue. I have a simple question to you guys. My goal is to work at one of major Investment banking firms at Wall Street. Is it true those firms don't give a damn about colleges like purdue because it is not well-known? Well all the best ;-) |

You need to take classes that you can do well in. Networking with your alumni can help in getting you up to speed on recruiting. If can't get a spot in an investment bank, try consulting, or... usually they take only MBAs.. and that too, from prestigious schools.. undergrads are hired too.. but they start at lower position/grade to their MBA counterpart ...Some life experience is always a bonus.
