The best school in MI would be University of Michigan (Ross). It's ranked #6 in the country according to Business Week. You should check out that website for more information: www.businessweek.com. They have a lot of info on colleges.

Investment bankers work about 80 hours a week. That's twice as much as most jobs. They work and never sleep. It is a very strenuous tiring job. But they make insane amounts of money. There is no set salary, it depends on the firm, but they are all high-paying. A degree to get you into investment banking would be Finance or Economics. Jobs in investment banking are very very very hard to get so good luck.

You should search for investment banking jobs in Yahoo Hotjobs or any job website and look at what the requirements are. It may even mention the salary too.
