I have been offered a graduate program with a big 4 accountancy firm & internship with Investment bank in Ops? |
Which would you choose? and where would be the most money? I have heard that within accountancy firms after 10yrs or so you can get in excess of 拢600,000 as a partner? Whereas in Ops the base salaries are good BUT bonuses aren't! plus back office is deemed inferior??? If the big-4 is a front-office position, I would definitely take it over banking ops. Ops is a dead-end job. If you do extremely well at big-4 (assuming that you can join transaction services or other highly regarded groups) you have a much better shot at applying to banking for full-time positions than coming out of ops. |
