What's a more lucrative career, an associate at an Investment Bank or Brand Manager for a major corporation?

brand manager, but good luck landing one of the top jobs with P&G, Disney, Coke, etc, which is where the good money is...

Marketing and brandmanagement can be very lucrative.
I marketed in gaming industry and am now marketing director for a major, global steel distributor. Six figures

I have been on the Investment Bank side of things, and it is defintely a lucrative positon. However, it is also extremely cut throat and you will have zero life. When I was on Wall Street it was all about going to Harvard, Wharton, Columbia or other top business schools. A company like Goldman Sachs would not even look twice at you if don't come from a lucrative school and have an amazing GPA. Also, the interview process is rigourous.

My advice, Investment Banking is a nice life if you are single or have a very understanding boyfriend/girlfriend or spouse. Most people I have known have used the large investment banks as a resume bulder and a few years down the road have moved on to smaller fund companies where they have more of a quality of life.
