Where should I list SAT scores on a investment bank resume? |
Where is it generally accepted to list SAT scores for an ibanking/S&T resume if I don't want to use space to list my high school? I currently have it under my university, but I took the SAT back in high school. Please only answer if you have relevant experience in banking/S&T. If its just a summer internship I'd put it on. I don't think I'd list anything from high school on the resume. I posed your question to a friend of mine who works for one of the top financial firms in New York City (Wall Street/Battery Park area). He kind of laughed when you questioned whether you should post SAT scores on a resume. He said simply "NO"! It does make you sound like you just graduated from high school. Banking personnel really do not care what your SAT scores were. They are only concerned with experience and your COLLEGE education. He suggested that you seek a career counselor at your university to critique your resume and give you pointers. If that is not possible, you should seriously google resume tips targeting banking/financing careers. I can also tell you from my own knowledge and experience is that you do not need to list that anywhere on your resume. |
