Who makes moremoney within an investment bank. Traders or Investments Bankers (Corporate finance)?

All the top students are recruited by corporate finance, is it because they make more money there than the traders or is it just because it is a more glamorous job?

There's a lot that go into either line of work.

There is a huge Investment Banking field out there. Traders are becoming a rare brred as trading systems are going more in the electronic direction. Trading floors are empty, what do you need a trader for?
