Investment bank hiring calendars?

in what months do investment banks generally look for new hires?

Investment banking hiring calendars are year round and tend to work on business cycles rather than calendar cycles. That is, when business is good (like now), they hire all year round. And when business is bad, there is a hiring moratorium.

That being said, vacancies tend to happen after bonuses, which are paid out in January for most countries (after Chinese New Years in February/March for many Asian countries).
