Please someone to help my homework of accoutning !!?

I do not understand how to solove ?? mark
Company A
December 31, 2006
assets: $55,000
Liabilities: 24,500

December 31, 2007
Assets: 58,000
Liabilities: ??

During year 2007
Owner investments: 6,000
Net income: 8,500
Owner cash withdrawals: 3,500

I would help you, but that would be doing your homework FOR you. All you have posted is the problem that you have to turn in, not where you are getting stuck....

Owner's equity = Assets - Liabilities

Dec 31 2006 Owner's Eq = $30,500

Equity added in 2007 = $6000+8500-3500 = $11000

Dec 31 2007 Owner's Eq = $11000+30500 = $41,500

Liabilities = Assets - Owner's Eq
= 58000-41500

Dec 31 2007 Liabilities = $16,500
