What do you think of... ?

I have recently been approached by a company offering me a recommendation on a company on the UK stock market. It seems very viable. I have not used them for any of my investments before and I am slightly hesitant about dealing with them.

Has anyone else dealt with a company of such a nature and if so what have your experiences with them been like?

Usually, if anybody offers you anything, he will profit from it. Don't believe them, they are just trying to get your money.

unless you have first hand information and knowledge - don't do anything.

In my experience It is only companies who I approach that are any good. If they had a good tip, why tell you? Google them in the first place, in case they are boiler rooms.

There's a film called "Boilerhouse" I think you should watch. Its about an unethical company that pressure sales stocks and shares and then declares bankruptcy when the prices plummet. Or something like that.

I never trust salesfolk that come looking for me.

Be VERY wary of anyone approaching you with a 'buy this' scheme, and that's all it is -a scheme.

I can certainly see why you would be hesitant about it, what with all the scammers out there. However I do believe there are some genuine people out there.

Like yourself I was approached by a financial research house. I have been using them for all my investment advice.

I have been involved with 3 situations in the past 18 months and the profits from the first situation have just went into my bank. I must say they have been some incredible returns.
