Who is privilidged enough to know what will happen to interest rates this coming week?


Wwhether the feds will keep hands off or roll back interest rates? Why bother investing in a company if you don't know what will happen to the stock? With all the bad news coming off of losses, even a winning company might have trouble doing well because of the investments from failing concerns. And you can't bet on the losing because the fed might come to the rescue and you would lose that bet too? It is all a gamble and some are privilidged to the information to buy their lottery ticket and some aren't? What is up with that?

It is kept extremely confidential. In the past information leaks have resulted in jail time. Bernanke has said he is in favor of making a cut. That is all the information everyone has.

No one knows the future with certainty.

The chairman of the Fed said recently that he was in favor of more interest rate cuts.
