When a Condo Conversion goes Bankrupt? |
I recently bought a condo conversion. I just learned that the condo conversion company has filed chapter 11 reorganization. What happends or what can happen to my investment in this condo? There is no simple answer to your question; you should immediately contact your attorney, presumably the same one you used when you bought the condo, and he/she can investigate the state of the proceedings and advise you. If you didn't use an attorney to buy the condo, get one now, and do so quickly -- your risk may be more than the price you paid for the unit. |
