For Tax Purposes, How long have I owned Disney (DIS)?

I purchased some shares of Pixar (PIXR) some time ago, which due to Disney's buyout of the company, was exchanged for equivalent shares of DIS stock last May. If I were to sell, would I have to report my purchase from the time of the exchange, making my investment less than one year old and therefore short-term, or from the time of the original PIXR investment, and therefore long-term?

Ownership is as of the day of your original purchase.
