If I incorporate will my credit affect borrowing money if my partner in the corporation has good credit?

I have poor credit, and myself and a partner would like to become a numbered company to buy an investment property. What do they look at to qualify our corporation? Can they just look at his info? If he makes enough money can that override my poor credit?

If you incorporate, then your credit will be based on the business and its past cash flows and amount of debt. If your partner is going to co-sign then for the corporation, this will make interest rates less and give you more borrowing power.
