I wonder if anyone is looking for a serious investment?

I am thinking of expanding our trucking company and I was wondering if I should offer shares to investors who want immediate and substantial returns......
Would this be something that would appeal to serious investors,or are we too small to compete??
We only have two trucks right now,but would like to expand to about 15 or so,,also we have some really great customers..

If you are willing to write a business plan a bank or the SBA (small business administration) will definately be able to assist you. If not then you might be able to find a venture capitalist.

www.prosper.com may be a place to begin your quest. I doubt that prosper would assist you with the large amount you want but maybe if you build in stages it would be a great idea.

You could try to issue shares but that's going to require a board and various other things that are going to be time consuming and probably somewhat expensive.

with 2 trucks the only serious investor you can probably find are people you know

Ask members of your extended family and friends who know you.

If I were to invest in your venture, I would want cast iron guarantees, audited books, tax returns etc.
