Need help selling an older mobile home in West Chester, Pa? |
I currently own a mobile home on rented land in West Chester, PA. I want to sell the mobile home so that my son and I can move back in with my family. The problem is, that the mobile home is old. It is a 1979 and needs some updating. Unfortunately I do not have the money to do the cosmetic repairs. The things that I believe need done in order to sell would be to replace the kitchen cabinets, replace stove and fridge and replace the carpeting. All are in ok and working order but they are old and kind of 鈥渃ruddy鈥?now. I need to get $11500.00 out of the sale in order to pay off my mortgage. Any suggestions on how this can be done? I鈥檇 like to not involve a realtor, as I do not have the extra funds to pay the realtor. I had thought of calling one of those investment companies that buys properties and then fixes them up and resells them but I haven鈥檛 found one yet that will buy a mobile home. I鈥檝e also tried calling the people that own the land (mobile home park) that i live on. post it on craigslist.com......it WILL SELL!!! There's a good cliff not far from there. Maybe you can sell it Bam Margera. He can destroy it one of his shows. lol Advertise your mobile home on craigslist.org for your area. A free for sale by owner site such as fsboTimes Real Estate will allow you to sell your mobile home without paying any fees. Maybe you can sell it as is or maybe you can make some of the repairs at little or no cost. Good luck. |
