Can I be a successful stockbroker in Boston? |
It seems that many stockbrokers live in New York City these days...but are there major investment companies in Boston where I can be fairly successful as a stockbroker? You can be a successful stock broker anywhere if you are a good salesman, They are basically sales people. If you are a people person who has some financial interest you can sell stocks anywhere you sell insurance which is every corner of America. You can be a successful broker anywhere let be successful at anything if you put your mind to it. As far as online accounts they're great for the average guy. But being broker - your dealing with peopl with high net worths and they don't have the time to keep their focus on the market.
