Chinese Investor?

How would you go about solicitating a chinese investment company to buy Real Estate in California

Wow! Giving the current market condition, would investment company buy at this level? REITs has gone down 40% for the year. I beleive it should go down another 40% until we see bottom. (I recommended all my clients to get out of REITs last year). Love to shop after the big discount. I see the effect over at Riverside/San Bernadino County. Not so much at LA and OC YET!

However, the situation is a bit different for the individuals. One may consider diversification of their assets in another country. You got Freedom and Privacy in the US. Who would know you when you shop at the Rodeo? We love CA sunshine and education system (at least the college level). You got large Chinese population around here: Food, Language, Gambling, Women etc. While you can hide your girlfriend here behind your wife. We got a community right next my home it's call "second wife village". Where do you invest your dirty money? At home and risk of being caught or here in the Land of "FREE".
