I've been a very happy investor in it for a few years.

A couple cautions:

Don't buy into it all at once. It can be very volatile. If the fund price seems kinda high (like right now) either don't buy, or buy a smaller amount. If the price goes down a lot, then buy a lot.

Ken Heebner is a genius, but he is not young. You are buying his genius. I'd watch the fund for news carefully in about 6 or 8 years if you are in it, because he will then be in his early 70's.

The expense ratio is about as high as I would go.

The track record is quite impressive.

This could be one of the few mutual funds I would consider investing in. It looks pretty solid.

For the time being. I would not invest in anything but commodities. Metals being best of breed. Do not let the high prices scare you off. They are going much, much higher. Put your money in the bank. See how this thing (the Dow) plays out. Just my two cents. Peace Mac

It has been going up sinse it has been a bond. It even went up during the last bears market. I like it.

It is one of the best mutual funds, Ken Heebner is brilliant.

pay attention to the inception 9/3/97

I agree with the consensus-it is the only US fund I would buy at this time.Ken Heebner is brilliant and is in all the right areas-foreign stocks, commodity stocks, infrastructure stocks, etc.
