I want to change the job within the company?

I want to change the job within the company but my boss does not agree because of the "Return of Investment". What should I do? I do not want to resignate.

Hi Andrei,

i have an experience working in Human Resources department so what i suggest is:
1) talk to you HR personnel (HR manager, Recruiting manager) and explain your situation.
2) talk to your boss's boss...it helps a lot, believe me ;))

If your company really values people working there so the management should consider employee's interests. Try to present your idea giving them more information that if you get that new job (assignment) you'll make more money for this company and you will do your best. Overall they will get the satisfied employee. Try to connect your interests with comapny interests coz management (business owners) mostly care about money, if you bring them more profit being on that new position they will be just happy to give you such opportunity. Well, good luck!
