What's going on with Satellite Radio companies and which one is the better stock investment - XM or Sirius?

Why are both Sirus and XM stocks are taking a beating? When do you think they'll bottom out?? Which company do you think will prove better???

**When do you think either time-wise or contingent on a particular event or milestone that things will begin to turn around?

Sirius I think has better growth potential with Howard Stern working for them. The best possible scenario is if the two companies merge but until that happens I don't see much hope for either.

Neither company is currently profitable, and both carry heavy debt loads. I personally have stock in Sirius and it has done nothing but fall down down down. I think that Sirus will prove better than XM but I don't know.

None. Unfortunately I hold Sirius stocks

I think Howard Stern's is a funny guy, but I just don't think he is worth the money and stock that Sirius handed over to him. For this reason alone, I would say go with XM. But honestly, if you are a satellite subscriber and think satellite radio is the future of radio, then I would say just buy both stocks.

As an investor though, I would have to say these are two of the worst stocks you can buy.
