How does investment work..?

Explain in clearly how does i towrk.. Tell me what are the benfits of investment.. What are the problem and what are the best company to invset with..

How does it work.. And how much money could you get back and periods of times..

In stocks the simple answer is that you buy stock in a company at a set price and you hold onto it and if it goes up in price then you made money and if it goes down you lose money. A stock that cost 12 bucks a share, and you buy 1000 units of that stock and over the next years the stock goes up to 20 dollars, you have made 8 dollars a share, times 1000 shares would make you some serious money. good luck.

hello!! everyone wants this question answered! lol as a beginner, i'd say to pick a bank like hsbc or ingdirect or emigrant that all pay a much much higher interest rate than almost any bank out there, and start saving money from your paychecks. if you have a lump sum of cash, put it there as well as it is insured, and like i said has a high rate of return vs. other banks.
then just get a simple book on investing. there's no one answer. otherwise we would already all be rich.
