How many annual reports and 10ks of a company should I read?

I want to research a company for investment purposes and what I am not sure about is how many of the company's annual reports and 10ks should I read? For comparison's sake is it sufficient for an investor to read 2 annual reports and 2 10ks?

Thank You

It could be. That is a very subjective question. Some people buy stocks without ever seeing an annual report or 10-k. What kind of analysis are you doing? What information are you looking for? In general, do as much research as you think you need to make sure this is an investment you're willing to make.

How much are you investing?

There is no set rule. The more you already know about a company or the business it is in, the fewer you need to read. The most important thing you need to remember is in the small print of every document you mention: that there is NOTHING in the historical results of a company that should be taken as proof of future results.

Just use the resources on Yahoo Finance, everything you need is there, seriously :)
