I've invested heavily in a company that makes hangers for socks. Is this a good investment?

Dammit --- I knew I should have kept that sock closet.

Personally, I wouldn't buy this. I like to keep my socks in drawers.

Based on the first 2 answers, I'd say no. This is right up my alley. This is the work I do for a living. Did you research the company or industry before you invested? I have never heard of a company offering this product. Another thing to ask before you invest in a company. Ask yourself if you would ever use that product or service. If the answer is yes, do more research to make sure the investment is a good idea. If the answer is no, then ... that's right, STOP. Walk away and tell the people trying to get you to invest to bugger off.

Did you, by chance, see the company's last 2 years income? Have they been aroung that long. IPOs and Start-Ups are very risky. Have you seen the company's business plan, mission statement, and charter? My advise would be to pull out now on any company that wants to make sock hangers and do more research in the future.

Few Questions to start with:

1. How big is the market for the sock hangers?
2. Who are the competitors?
3. How much money does this company have in the bank or are you the first investor?

Based on this recommendation, I've already poured 1,000,000,000,000,000 ($1 quadrillion) into this industry, and my product is going to blow everyone's mind!
