How Do You Go About Buying Stock in a Company without the Middle Man?

Is there any way of getting around buying stock in a company without the broker or stock investment companies? I just want to do it myself...

Go to the companies website.... 2.Look for the investors section (you might have to look really hard for this, but most comapnies have it)......... 3. Read around and it should be there............... Or you can just trade online @ Amreitrade, ShareBuilder, Etrade, or Scottrade

Some, not all, companies have a direct method of buying stock from them, just call the investor relations office of whatever company you are trying to buy from, and ask about.

Some companies, not very many, have DPP--direct purchase plan--Bob Evans Farms is one. Others, more but not all, have DRIP--direct reinvestment plan--where one can directly reinvest the dividends and purchase more stock.
