What investment companies have the best diversified portfolios?

I have about 2500 to invest. What are the diffrent types, expenses and companies that offer these investments. I was thinking about growth, value and blend portfolios.

Do not put all your eggs in one basket?

It is good advice and certainly applies to the stock market.

These could be property company, REIT's or even different investment strategies.
