I would like to buy some stock directly from a company. Low investment.!?

Prefer stock in wireless communication or some other technology.

securities purchases are regulated by the SEC - that makes it difficult to buy and sell without a broker...

but, call the company (investor relations or public relations - their numbers are listed on their websites) and see if they will sell to you directly in an "over-the-counter" sale of stock...

also (if you're really committed to buying that stock) work for the company - they usually have employee stock ownership plans...

remember - a company does not just hold it's own stock for no apparent reason... they usually have it because they don't want too much supply of it in the market - if they sold to everyone who didn't want to pay broker fees then they might get a run on the stock which would not only throw the price into chaos but might also earn them some unwanted attention from federal regulators
