What degree should i get if i want to be a investor working for an investment company?

I want to do something in finance like investor, currency broker, something along those lines. I am in college now but unsure of the major i want to go for yet. Anyone that is any of these things have an idea on what kind of degree i should get?-Looking to make 400,000 a year. I love money (who doest) and getting payed to play with others and get payed a lot for it sounds fun!

Start out with a 4 year Finance Degree. FYI... You don't need a degree to be a stock broker, but remember a stock broker is just a salesman. He is told what to sell to his clients. He doesn't actually do the research and pick great investments.

And if you are looking to make $400,000 a year you might want to consider getting an MBA in Finance from a first class university... ie. Harvard, Princton, University of PA, Stanford...

Good luck

Also, note that making $400,000 a year doesn't usually mean you are doing much investing. Typically you are managing an investment team.

And if you do get so lucky.... please do not be so foolish to think you are "playing" with someone elses money. There is a huge amount of responsiblity that comes with these positions.
