Biggest investment company in world.?

WHICH COMPANY IS MANAGING A LARGE POOL OF WORLD FUNDS.

It's definitely Fidelity, with Charles Schwab coming in second.

But I have to give props to the company I use to work for. Mellon -It has $5.3 trillion assets under management. It's different from other investment companies in that they only manage funds for people with atleast $1 million in income. It's basically a wealth mangement company. If you have the money, please consider Mellon (www.mellon.com)

American Funds

That might depend on your definition of investment company.

Citicorp manages 1.5 trillion in assets
Bank America manages 1.3 trillion in assets.
Fidelity Investments claim 1.2 trillion in managed assets and 2.5 trillion in custodial assets (broker accounts) They also claim to be the largest mutual fund company in the United States which I assume would also make them the largest in the world.
