How do i be a good investment banker?

lets say i got hired as an associate , but what do i need to do to be good at the job and produce a lot of revenue for the firm. what character traits should i have and what skills should i posess? thank you

hey dude how about some adjective-subject agreement

First get an MBA. When you achieve that you will have obtained the appropriate skills & character traits.

Oh man... don't come with this questions that can have a book as answer. You'll need a lot of skills, know about a lot of stuff, have contacts and be very intelligent. A MBA can help you but not make miracles. Very few people achieve success even with a good MBA. Don't forget a lot of very successful business man don't even have an university diploma.

Edit:
Need to work on my grammar? You gotta be kidding right?
What exactly is the word posess? A new drink or something? ROFL HAHAHAHA or maybe you meant possess. Kid, look at yourself first before talking about others. Since you didn't do anything to prove your value as a man just keep yourself quiet and go learn something. In some years we can meet each other and see who is The Man and who achieved success, right? I'm in.

I already said enough for today.

Take an English class.
