What is a mutual fund or investment that best represents the S&P 500? |
Is there an index fund, mutual fund or some other investment that is basically a good indexing or mirroring of the S&P 500? The S&P 500 itself is an index fund. You can get it through most brokers, including Vanguard. It performs quite well! The exchange traded fund (ETF) with the symbol SPY. There are many SP500 index funds, both ETF and mutual funds.
