Is it a legitmate way to make money to lend your credit to someone to make investments?

A friend of mine says that he knows someone who can help me make liek 40 thousand dollars just by lending my credit to make investments. Has anyone ever done anything liek this before? or heard of anything like it? What are some key pieces of information that I shoudl know before going into something like this?? Any info woud be appreciated!!

Actually, what you're describing sounds illegal. Applying for credit in someone else's behalf sounds more like identity theft.

How would you know what they are going to do with your credit? They could say one thing and do something else. How would you like to find yourself owing millions.

This sounds like a way to lose money.

It is absolutely, positively a scam.
