Is Investment Advisers scam ? Or a great chance!?

There are a lot of firms called investment advisers. Some are scams. Some have been found guilty of churning.
Some are legitimate. If your investment adviser is associated with your deep discount broker, it is probably all right. Since you are asking this question, you might benefit from their advice.
My policy is to not place more that 5% of your amount you have to invest in any one year with them. Some won't take you on that basis.
You should know that you are asking a difficult question. Even experienced investors have been taken. Probably, a flat fee is better that a percentage, but not necessarily You might google the names af the people involved. If they have had problems, stay away.

96% of all advisers will be scams and people who aask for money for there advise are always scams. Dont risk it or you'll lose alot of money.

Most of the time, you are your own best advisor. Learn about investing first, though
