meaning and how it works. Investment management means you have a third party manage your money. Could be a trust department at a bank, an independent money manager, it could be managed at a mutual fund company. You give someone the right to buy investments for you. They may also pay bills, handle insurance quotes, open and close various homes you own, etc. There is a tremendous amount of service available out there for people that have money but no time or interest to manage their assets. |
