What is the most lucrative and realistically attainable finance related job?

Which finance job offers exceptional salary, and is not overpopulated.

Looking at vocations such as Economist, or Investment Manager.

How do you obtain such a vocation.

Hedge Fund Managers earn about $100 Million on average.

If I knew how to be a hedge fund manager, I'd be one right now.

There is a big demand for Risk Managers. Many business schools offer degree's in this specialty. A good risk manager can make into the hundreds of thousands.

Become a financial advisor and then you can move up from there.
In finance, you have to start in sales to move ahead.

Investment banking will generally pay upwards of $1M after a few years if you do well. The others have an even higher upside. Generally Investment bankers will retire with $50M to $100M in the bank.

The catch is you have to be realy smart to do these things well -- as well as work really hard.
