Money Manager?

What steps do I take to become a money manager?
It says you become a:
-Junior Analyst
Then
-Senior Analyst
Then
-Portfolio Manager
Then
-Chief Investment Officer

But im just wondering how you get to the junior analyst part because i read somewhere that you cant just start out there you need some other expirence in something else b4 that. Can anyone help me and give me all the details? Thanks.

Minimum of a bachelors degree and time interning at a company. Probably a year or two of experience on another desk job. A masters would help a lot.
