Now http://www.lisdsp.net tells me I should be prepared for life after LIS. It seemed a good investment option for pensioners like my mother. What brought down LIS DEEPASTHAMBHAM PROJECT? Who are the people behind it?

Organization such as the one you mentioned are "scams" and the persons behind them hide their identities to avoid arrest for these (usually) illegal operations. Finding them will be next to impossible. They usually "fold their tents" and steal away" with their ill-gotten gains.
